electrons revolving around protons in an atom do not have empirical evidence). Also evidence itself becomes subjective when it comes to our universe. So the only way to get to a GUT might not be just scientific theories.I will soon post at the classifications that i have put on the article which will give you further insight.Sashihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10415316428911753690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24652513.post-1147774607658656582006-05-16T15:46:00.000+05:302006-05-16T15:46:00.000+05:30It us the reason for our existence. But at the same time it should also require a lot of mental constructs and as we know science doesnt accept anthing unless its proved emperically. How is GUT supposed to tool.
Sceince has complicated things ,but why blame science allone?
today what an average middle class family can afford, the schooling and higher education has become so costly that poor children cant even dream of it.Its the outlook how we are brought up which intrigues this thinking in us and the expectation from each one of us who were fortunate enough to have such education is to give the same back to the needy. If each one of us can raise one, then atleast a lot can change if not everything.Certain things are definately within us,If it doesnt come to us straight then we have to reach out for it.Sashihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10415316428911753690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24652513.post-1146637867763748262006-05-03T12:01:00.000+05:302006-05-03T12:01:00.000+05:30Hi change in any drastic ways by us individuals.Yes ,its required definately in us and also each one of us needs to realize this is in our minds. We need to refine this right from where it stems.Such refinement could alter our thinking and pave the way for righteous living. We have to do something about it and we cant remain just silent. But before we preach we refine ourselves and then the overall process could be much more easier. Its like doing something is easier when we understand it completely.Sashihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10415316428911753690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24652513.post-1146216820407494722006-04-28T15:03:00.000+05:302006-04-28T15:03:00.000+05:30good the plight of the people who sell their daughters to some brothel or the child who start working from an age when he doesnt even realize why he is doing it and for what.today science is supposed to be taking long strides towards an all round progress.but tell me what meaning has this progress got to this people?it is only complicating our lives instead of making it simpler.it is very easy to talk about big things and comment by keeping oneself outside the system but the only way to remove poverty form the roots is to get inside the problem and remove it from the roots.the most important tool being education.if we see that 10 out of 10 children are educated then its progress in the truest sense.that is fulfillment at the truest sense.
so let us start from the basics and do something to save these people.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24652513.post-1146115443786839652006-04-27T10:54:00.000+05:302006-04-27T10:54:00.000+05:30what you think is right but we are not we have seen the politicization of religion but we dont do anything to stop it. most of us think that its no use voting because our one vote would not make any difference bit the sad part is that at the end of the day all of us think that way and things go from bad to worse.if we really want to do something we have to stop being idealist and take some affirmative actions, mere writing about it would not help the cause.religion and god is used by people to serve their selfish ends and the people to be blamed is us because we dont care. we think that the entire system is corrupt and hence nothing is left to be done.that is the reason why our society is not progressing and we are happy to only say that yes we realize but at the same time we are unable to do anything.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24652513.post-1146022444679934322006-04-26T09:04:00.000+05:302006-04-26T09:04:00.000+05:30Hi Sagar,Being an Indian myself i can figure Religion i believe has sound and perfect lessons but it was not brought down to us in the proper manner. Also it is now the responsibility of each one of us now to recreate the actual spirit and live life in a simple yet spiritious in turn the society in general.
in todays world religion has become nothing but a way of giving vent to one's own frustrations. one's inability to do something good in life.
in the name of god and religion we are settling our personal scores with others.
we in india talk of poverty and how much we are in need of progress and a good standard of life but the same people spend a fortune for performing a puja, for distributing mithai during diwali, when most of the mithai is seen to be lying in the dust bin the very next day.
as i am an indian i am highlighting the indian context, i am sure things like this happen in other countries as well.
it is good to see that their are other people also who agree to your point of view, otherwise most just dont care about such issues now a days.
its time that we do something about it, stop following blindly, and articulate what we really want from life.
its very easy to blame others for influencing us but at the end of the day we ourselves are to be blamed for being ignorant.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24652513.post-1145704424818288632006-04-22T16:43:00.000+05:302006-04-22T16:43:00.000+05:30Hi form of a person going through various phases of faiths and beliefs in his life.

The last para mentions one form of belief which is not restricted or forced but left to choice of the one.The content mention here could just be one possible 'learned' choice.

Overall view is a message to not just follow but learn all the different possible choices, understand them and follow them instead of being rigid.Sashihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10415316428911753690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24652513.post-1145703540653222822006-04-22T16:29:00.000+05:302006-04-22T16:29:00.000+05:30Yes I agree that religion did divide us apart. But...Yes I agree that religion did divide us apart. But I guess in a very crude way (atleast in the initial phases), religion was nothing but a group of people who shared similar beliefs. As simple as that. Then started comparisons. Some claiming their beliefs are superior to others. Here started all the troubles. And there seems no end to it. Why cannot people simply believe what they want to and let other people believe what they want? What is the need for all such comparisons? Beliefs is nothing but one's perceptions about the things he seems true, feels or experiences. So Beliefs are bound to be different from one person to another.

Why do you say that we are like puppets moved by thoughts and expressons? On the contrary, I would say that thoughts and expressions are nothing but the way you as a thinking entity tend to assimilate things. Anyone does not randomly follow other's thoughts just because it's free. He follows it because, he feels it's good for him.

As there cannot be a utopic world, there has be poison around. That balances all the good going around. So people who spread that god is something to be feared are just balancing out the fact that god loves all. So it's left to us to believe what we want to. If you observe, we have choice here (as a matter of fact in most situations in life). So it depends upon our beliefs as to what god is that we tend to choose a path. I repeat the phrase 'we tend to'. Sometimes our affinity towards something makes us do it even though we might not know much about it. Here again I say that our inner thoughts and perceptions play a big role. Subconciously we have taken a decision of doing something. And the conscious mind will get to know about this decision only when it encounters a situation wherein this decision is needed. Quite a difficult thing to believe but I guess this answers lots of puzzles.

And indian society is no different. People might change but the beliefs and opinions are indenpendent of societies.

I didn't exactly get what point the author is trying to make. All I can guess is that he seems angry and frustrated at how the world is being run. As the passage progresses the tone of the passage changes from frustration to faith. In the end he seems to allege that god is there to take care of everybody and not to harm.Srikarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10813583478305559598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24652513.post-1144840378744554792006-04-12T16:42:00.000+05:302006-04-12T16:42:00.000+05:30with regard to your reply... i would say that it d...with regard to your reply... i would say that it depends on each one of us to raise the level of consciousness of the people...we have become so busy with our daily activities that such issues do not cross our minds except when we are writing something about it as an exercise or as a matter to be posted here...realization is very good...its the first step but equally important is its execution...

we have to be more tolerant towards other...this does not mean only religios tolerance but one that encompasses all the spheres of life...

we have to be kind to others...reach out to people in times of their need...that's what humanity is all about and that's what God wishes to see in us...if we believe in his existence...

its not the amount we are spending in the name of religion but the way we are conducting ourselves in our lives... thats what matters...

if we are true to ourselves...we will remain true to God who is believed to be residing in each one of us...then we wont need the help of anything else to please Him...

what i said is very idealistic i know...but not very difficult to achieve...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24652513.post-1144825585974585602006-04-12T12:36:00.000+05:302006-04-12T12:36:00.000+05:30hey nice post!i've written a little somethin on re...hey nice post!
i've written a little somethin on relegion

God is not to be feared.....

and regarding my so called 'readers', i dont even know if they are loyal to me......let alone they visit your blog from the tiniest of links in the horribilest of posts!!!kaushikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14854952659886099080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24652513.post-1144750441825072042006-04-11T15:44:00.000+05:302006-04-11T15:44:00.000+05:30Hi anand,Quite rite the way you said, its always th...Hi anand,

Quite rite the way you said, its always the poor who get affected in every event that happens.Their life is not so because they arent intelligent but so because they dont get the oppurtunity to develop as the way we have from our childhood.
Still many among us who have got everything fail to realise the same and we care nothing for them.
Sometimes it feels unfair but what will we players be left for if everything was fair?Sashihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10415316428911753690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24652513.post-1144750228967676002006-04-11T15:40:00.000+05:302006-04-11T15:40:00.000+05:30Hi,thanx for those valuable words. As much as said ...Hi,

thanx for those valuable words.

As much as said and believd and not just followed,God whether he is there or not or he is just there as nature,we his creations must believe and realize to raise oneself.
It very much depends on our generation as to how the future of this world will be.
Communal Riots are examples of how God has been glorified in the name of religion and the killings show how much wrong can happen in the name of God.
Therefore reasoning oneself in every situation is very important and the assessment will provide the pathway for a better worldSashihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10415316428911753690noreply@blogger.com
