Black Rain
Burning oil got over
the lights that escaped
never to return bright..
stars shine deceived
obscured by clouds of the night sky
a few hearts scattered
a few more on list
drops rushing down in gravity
a wall comming down in uncertainty
a reaction is the skies
the effect on the ground.
a few men marvel their creations
and make a lot more suffer
a few sleeping people wake up,
watch the rain,
and they carry their belongings inside ,trying to protect
and soon they give up...
the property,the humanity.
everything in fall and people upside down,
blown away by the river.
created by skies,as the water falls
down blend in human color.
rips apart the bonds,
spills over the limits,
and cracks the surface,
while the earth sleeps,
its raining all clouds...BLACK RAIN.
(now let me see ur inferences...)

Its said that..'The poor are not those who have been “left behind”; they are the ones who have been robbed'..."BLACK RAIN" holds this to be true.
It is indeed a very thoughtful insight into the lives of the millions of people groaning under peverty.
I am so glad there is someone out there who can actually say it as it is.
Global poverty is an alarming issue and everyone needs to address it seriosly.
The step taken by the writer is a commendable one because people need to be made aware of the situation as it is.
If we are serious about ending poverty, we have to be serious about ending the systems that create poverty by robbing the poor of their common wealth, livelihoods and incomes. Before we can make poverty history, we need to get the history of poverty right. It’s not about how much wealthy nations can give, so much as how much less they can take.
Wow! Geeeeeee... Thanx a lot!
i guess i should put ur words along with that article as the inference
Bulls eye inference-Keep it up!
i must say that both the original post and the comment by miss ritu is very intriguing. it is true that povery is the most alarming issue that needs to be addressed at this point of time.take the plight of the people who sell their daughters to some brothel or the child who start working from an age when he doesnt even realize why he is doing it and for what.today science is supposed to be taking long strides towards an all round progress.but tell me what meaning has this progress got to this people?it is only complicating our lives instead of making it simpler.it is very easy to talk about big things and comment by keeping oneself outside the system but the only way to remove poverty form the roots is to get inside the problem and remove it from the roots.the most important tool being education.if we see that 10 out of 10 children are educated then its progress in the truest sense.that is fulfillment at the truest sense.
so let us start from the basics and do something to save these people.
good realization.but are we doing anything about it??
Hi Shiraz,
Yes Poverty is a big issue today and we have to remove it from the roots.Education as u mention is the most important tool.
Sceince has complicated things ,but why blame science allone?
today what an average middle class family can afford, the schooling and higher education has become so costly that poor children cant even dream of it.Its the outlook how we are brought up which intrigues this thinking in us and the expectation from each one of us who were fortunate enough to have such education is to give the same back to the needy. If each one of us can raise one, then atleast a lot can change if not everything.Certain things are definately within us,If it doesnt come to us straight then we have to reach out for it.
Hi eliza,
We have to do something about it because its us who have realized this.Probably its not bad to start educating the poor children and we have to ensure that their thinking does match as the same as other children.
I see that these poor children are not defeated by intellect, they are defeated by chance and oppurtunity.
We have to give them the chance and the oppurtunity in whatever possible way we can.
